Ingredients:
½ cup soft bread crumbs ½ cup milk
1 small onion, minced ½ kilo ground beef
Dash of pepper 2 tsp. salt
½ cup shredded young coconut 1 cup flour
Butter 2 eggs beaten
¼ cup sugar 1 tbsp. cornstarch
½ cup vinegar 1 ¼ cup water
1 tbsp. soy sauce
Mix bread crumbs and milk; let stand 5 minutes.
Add beef onion 1 ½ tsp. salt and pepper to taste.
Mix gently but thoroughly.
Shape into 16 balls mix coconut and flour.
Dip meat balls in egg then in coconut-flour mixture.
Brown on ball sides in butter.
In separate saucepan, mix the rest of the salt sugar, cornstarch,
Water, vinegar and soy sauce.
Add to the meat balls in a skillet.
Stir while simmering about 8 minutes.
Add green ppper, cover and simmer 2 minutes more.
