Ingredients
1/2 kilo ground beef 1/4 cup onion, chopped
3/4 barbecue sauce 1 1/2 cups cooked kidney beans
1 tbsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. salt
3 cup shredded lettuce 12 frankfurter buns, split, toasted
Velveeta pasteurized cheese, sliced, cut in half diagonally.
Brown meat drain.
Add onion, cook until tender.
Stir in beans, barbecue sauce, chili powder and salt.
Cover, simmer for 15 minutes.
For each sandwich, melt velveeta sliced on bottom half of buns.
Top with lettuce and meat mixture.
Serve with top half of bun.
Make 12 sandwiches.
