EGG YOLK BISCUITS


Ingredients:
4 eggs yolks
¼ cup water
2 cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
  Oil for deep fat frying
Beat egg yolks, and water together until lemon colored.
Stir sugar into flour.
Mix liquid and dry ingredients  together.
Knead on a floured board until surface blisters.
Cut dough into half.
Roll out a half-centimeter thickness
Cut into 2 inch parallelogram and slit center from longest point of dough.
Curl back tips into slit in opposite directions.
Fry in deep hot fat until delicately brown.
Make 3 dozen.
